Yeah, so your favorite band's drummer finally had a little oops with the motorcycle. Well, more with the ground and less with the motorcycle.
Comin around a corner I hit a bit of oil in a corner, and for an uncomfortable rollercoaster ride couple of seconds later I was standing next to my bike in the middle of the road, bike laying in the street.
My first thought was, "I hope no one behind me hits me." I checked and no one was behind me roaring up on me. I stood up, and my next thought was, "Aw man, this was my last pair of good jeans!" as I stared at the giant hole on my knee.
People were really cool and helped me get the bike back up. Not something I could do myself cuz my knee wasn't working well. After a quick check to make sure nothing fell off (of the bike or myself) I scooted off with a bent up windshield, a slightly cracked turn signal, and an adrenaline rush that was totally intense.
Now, a week later, the list of goofed-upness to me amounts to one slightly bruised knee, a sprained foot, and a dislocated rib. The bike goes into the doctor this weekend to see how she's doing.
Though I'm still ready to rock, practice the other night went over well, and nothing started hurting any more than it already did. So rest assured, I'm doing just fine, and I'm ready to rock whenever you are!
Be safe out there, you really do never know what's gonna happen next.
